The Men’s Advance has been hosted by Bible Baptist Church of Stillwater for over ten years and is attended by men from all across the Midwest. The goal of the Men’s Advance is to impact the lives of men spiritually to make a difference in their homes, churches, relationships and community. The meeting runs on a two-day format, beginning this year at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 27, 2018, and concluding at approximately 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 28.

The theme this year is Moments.  Our goal is to help men "Master the Moments that Matter the Most."  It is quite common for men to feel the motivation and even develop a plan for either conquering some temptation or achieving an important God-given goal.  Yet, they fail time and time again.  The reason? More times than not, they melted in the moment of doing what they should.  Life is lived in moments.  That's all we have.  Success is won or lost by what a man does in the moment.  Our goal is to flesh out the truths of James 1:22-26 and leave men with a detailed plan for figuring out the moments they need to conquer the most, then help them master those particular moments.

This year, we will again meet at the Payne County Expo Center, just east of Stillwater. Meals are provided on-site to allow the men more time to fellowship with one another, and include a full smoked meat dinner Friday night, complete breakfast Saturday morning, and a great lunch Saturday afternoon. In addition to the Advance, a golf tournament is open to all attendees and precede the Advance earlier on Friday.

We will be leaving the church at about 1:00 P.M. on Friday.  We ask that everyone eat their lunch before we take off.  We will go to the hotel first and drop off our stuff.  There will be a little bit of resting time before we go.  Then we will head over to the Expo Center and check in.  Dinner will be provided after the first service.
